We are currently looking for a Front of House Manager at our Charlotte Airport location to oversee the operations and associates of the "Front-of-House." This position oversees and manages our team members who are responsible for the check-in and check-out experience, daily care of guests, drop offs, and reception desk responsibilities. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF OUR FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER INCLUDE:

Providing oversight and guidance to the front-of-house, specifically the reception desk, reception team, and resort communications
Managing operations in accordance with company standards of safety, cleanliness, and conduct
Communicating operational and system’s front-of-house policy, procedures, and guidelines
Acting as the liaison to the veterinary service team; providing notice and thorough details of guest’s veterinary issues, and acting as communication leader when General Manager unavailable
Responsible for development of FOH resort team through training, coaching and feedback
Assisting General Manager in conducting interviews, communicating staff needs, on-boarding, and scheduling
Providing guidance to management and team on operational, guest and Human Resources issues
Performing duties as required by General Manager to maintain structured operations of resort

QUALIFICATIONS TO BE A FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER:

Three to five years experience in a management role overseeing at least twenty to thirty employees

Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills including the ability to guide, direct, and motivate employees
Must have experience with interviewing, hiring, evaluating candidates, and assessing employee performance
Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills
Comfortable being around dogs of all sizes and physically able to lift up to 60 lbs
Flexibility to resort schedule needs including days, night, weekends, holidays, and peak times
Valid driver’s license and working motor vehicle

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum two years related experience with strong training skills
  • Previous experience in animal care or other related field preferred
  • Prior management experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality operations or similar
  • Basic skills with common computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite
